Hi Enrico, where will you escape to this summer?
This summer, I'll be spending part of it at home with my family. Since I travel frequently for work throughout the year, I feel the need to reclaim my space and slow down a bit. Then, I'll head to Greece for a couple of weeks, where I'll combine work and relaxation.
Who and what will you bring with you?
I'll be traveling with a friend, and I certainly won't forget my camera.
What are your dream destinations for a perfect summer getaway?
I don't think there's a perfect destination. I like to decide at the last minute, based on what I feel I need. We're fortunate in Italy, with so many places to discover, from the sea to the mountains. Personally, I'm a sea person, especially in the summer. I love being near the water, and I have a soft spot for Sicily. Recently, though, I've preferred to travel outside the summer months, when there are fewer people and less chaos.

What is your most precious summer memory?
One of my most cherished memories is a beautiful summer trip to French Polynesia with my entire family, perhaps the last trip we all took together. It was amazing in every way. If I think about my childhood, I remember the ritual of having a snack after the afternoon swim, strictly after waiting three hours from lunch: an 'Ambrogino' with Nutella.
If your summers were a song, what would it be?
'Acqua e sale' by Mina and Celentano.
What are the essentials in your summer suitcase?
I can't do without leather espadrilles, sunglasses, sunscreen, and a half placket shirt.
It's time to pack: choose 6 items from our selection that you would bring with you!
